Francis A. Onesto, a hotelier, built the Onesto Hotel and it first opened its doors in 1930. He made no compromises in his quest to turn downtown Canton's area into an opulent setting. The design was influenced by the Italian Renaissance with a touch of 1930s fashion.

Marble benches and terrazzo floors are illuminated by the original crystal chandelier in the lobby. From President John F. Kennedy to Marilyn Monroe, it frequently hosted illustrious visitors. The Historic Onesto Event Center underwent extensive restoration work and reopened in 2014 after being abandoned for several decades. The original features have been restored to their former splendor and are now ready to host your special day.

Your loved ones enter the Grand Lobby of the Historic Onesto Event Center through the hotel's original revolving doors.
